“When Bonnie and I met, I was not familiar with Somatic Breathing Therapy…now I am beyond words with what to say about the tremendous gift Bonnie has! Thank you so much for today”

-Ada

Breathwork is consciously, connecting to your breath to influence your state. Our breath is this amazing little tool that we have with us all the time.

It’s the communication between the body and the brain. And It’s always sending messages. On average we take 23,000 breaths per day. So it always matters how we’re breathing!

Since you’re always breathing, you’re always doing “breathwork”. The question is - Is it helping you or hindering you?  Is it functional or dysfunctional?

What is Breathwork?

Most of the time we breathe without being aware of our breath - another one of the smart things our body does for us! With intention and awareness, you can use it as a tool for nervous system regulation, performance or healing.

When we are breathing in a dysfunctional way, over time it can affect different systems in the body, keeping us in a chronic state of stress. With functional breathing and breath awareness, the opposite happens. We have access to nervous system regulation, the ability to change our state, and we can handle what life throws at us on our terms.

Breathwork isn’t only for during a session, It’s intentionally connecting to your breath in any given moment. Your breath holds more than you think, see what happens when you tune in.

Why Breathwork?

What does a session look like?

Each session includes breath awareness and nervous system regulation tailored to you.

It doesn’t matter if you’re new to breathwork or experienced, I meet you where you’re at and guide you to use the breath for stress relief, regulation, and tools to begin using right away.

What should I expect afterwards?

Often time, people experience re-connection to themselves, clarity, peace and feelings of deep purpose after a session.  Sometimes a lot of emotions come up and it can feel heavy as you are processing what came up for you.  So if you can, leave space in your day after to honor your needs and any boundaries that will continue to support you.

Breathwork is a form of self care. What do you need after to continue to take care of yourself?

WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING

Breathwork has always been intimidating to me and I never “got it”. The technique and Bonnie’s care made for a very safe space and allowed for a very profound experience.

I was amazed how long I could hold my breath and in those moments it felt like I was floating, immersed in a beautiful calm state.

-Claudia L

The best part was and still is the ripple effect after the session, especially 24 hrs after.
